Next week our Cub Scout pack will have a lot going on. Each Den has some crafts they are doing and some of the boys are working on their Wood Chip Card. This is a accomplishment that teaches the boys a safe way to handle a pocket knife and allows for them to be able to carry one in their pocket when the Cub Master or parent has approved it.
Also next meeting is our B.A.R.F meeting. Bring A Real Friend. The boys have each been given two cards/invites to hand out to a friend and invite them to the meeting. We are very excited about this as it will give other boys the chance to experience a small potion of being a Cubscout. As well as allow the Scouts to show off what they have learned and are learning. We have some great things going on that we feel the invited boys will enjoy but have not planned anything special or different than what we do at our regular meetings.
We are looking to make sure all adult leaders are up to date and educated on youth protection at this meeting as well as enjoy some new faces who may or may not become a member of our pack and family. Anyone is welcome to stop in if they would like and see what we do, the Scouts would enjoy it!!
Next meeting is March 3rd @ 5:30 p.m. in the Bloomfield School Cafeteria. Please enter through the side doors from the back of the Elementary building. This is the side closest to the baseball field/ parking lot. If anyone needs any other info please feel free to contact us.
